21 Day Fix One Momma On A Mission
Today is my first day of the 21 Day Fix by Beach Body. I'll admit I'm a bit intimidated but also excited!
The goal is to:
1. Feel more energetic and better about myself.
2. Make these jeans fit comfortably like they did 4 years ago.
3. Drop my hip and bust measurements to 36" or less.
4. Loose 15 lbs.
I may have to do a few rounds of the program but this Mommas coming back !!

OOps I have Two Blogs and I Only Want One.
Yes I really am that computer dim witted. Somehow I created a second blog. This dear readers is the second blog that was created in error. I still do not know how but I'm past the scratching my head stage and now I'm just going to say.......THE REAL BLOG is The Thrifty Momma Says. I would love it if those who follow this blog would hop on over and follow the other instead as it is regularly updated. In a few weeks I plan on deleting this blog so I hope everyone will make the shift. Sorry for the confusion.

My Appliances Are Ganging Up On My Wallet and Sanity
In the last few weeks three of my most used appliances have kicked it. My dryer, steam mop and toaster have all gone to the appliance graveyard:(.
I'm holding out hope on the steam mop. When a rare free moment comes perhaps I can call the company and they will walk me through a quick fix. A girl can hope right???
The laundry mat dryers for a family of 5 are crazy expensive. The good part is that I have someone who is giving us a gas dryer I just need to figure out how to get it here and pay to have the gas line installed. We have gas in our house but the old dryer was electric.
As for the toaster we use it every day as my kids are all obsessed with Eggos. I have wanted a four slot toaster for a while. The old one was a two slot. I would have never dreamed that a cheap one would be over $40 though. Yikes. For some reason I'm not crazy about buying a used one at the thrift store. I know that seems funny since I buy preowned cloth diapers and all but toasters are just so hard to clean and well it gives me the heebie jeevies. I'm weird.
Wish me luck on all fronts.

Getting Paid to Shop at CVS
I had to make a trip out with the kids this morning in search of Zicam for the cold I'm getting. Is it me or is it always cold season?
Anyway making the something good out if the trip was easy. Not only did they have FREE after ECB's Cadbury eggs at CVS. they also had better than free shave gel.
Here's how:
7oz Skintimate Ladies Shaving Cream is $3.89 and triggering a $4 ECB. I bought 6 cans and there were still a bunch left. Total happy splurge as I can never bring myself to pay for my shaving cream. These smell yummy too!

My First Estate Sale... Love It!
I hit my first ever estate sale yesterday. I think it will be the first of many. Lots of great vintage finds for EBay and a few trinkets for the house. I grabbed all this stuff and a bit more for only $12.
My goal is to get it all cleaned up and listed this week. Wish me luck! I'm going to try to remember to post the results next week.
This was a family run estate sale. For those of you who are estate sale veterans are the family run ones usually less expensive? I thought this stuff wad a steal!
On addition to what's in the photo I also got a vintage Tupperware lettuce crisper ( it's missing the little trivot thing so I'm keeping it as a container). I also got a few vintage knitting patterns and three boxes of new light bulbs. Who can't use light bulbs.
If anyone knows anything about the cool vintage sailor cap or good ol Mr Peanut let me know. I have not been able to find anything like them on line.
